The DCathlon DC Generator for CATV applications have a Negative Ground Polarity, allowing the Genset to be connected directly to the +36V or +48VDC battery power DC bus. DCathlon DC Generators also incorporate the required communications interface for DOCSIS monitoring of the Genset via the power supply device transponder. DCathlon DC Generators are the only DC output generator that has been tested and certified under Telcordia standards. DCathlon meets the requirements of GR-487, GR-63, and GR-1089 for outside plant CATV applications.
