AT&T Signs On for DCathlon Gensets! |
| |
AT&T SWBT has signed on as a new customer for Cummins Power Products and it's line of DC Generator products. The first order has been received, assembled, tested and shipped as of 2/13/08. The installation site will be the Hidalgo County Municipal Complex. This is the first of what is expected to be many orders in the future. Cummins Power Products approached AT&T SWBT last year as a solution for not only their increasing power requirements at Remote Cabinet sites, but also increasing site reliability. The product and site approval process was greatly accelerated due to the long-term relationship that Cummins Power Products previously had with AT&T's recent acquisition, Bell South, now AT&T SE. Upon successful completion of this site application, AT&T will allow the DCathlon line of DC Generators to be acquired and installed by all areas of the new AT&T, for outside plant applications. |

Citizens Communications is one of the nation's largest rural local exchange carriers, operating in 24 states. |

Cummins Power Products has made the decision to replace all Power View 100 equipped panel options with the Teleflex model 2600 GEM ( generic engine monitor) The Gem works the same way as the PV 100 and is expected to provide better reliability. The new panel option IN 11264 / INPU 10213 replaces all the PV 100 options. It works with both 12 and 24 volts systems.
PV 100's can no longer be ordered. Barb Morrison will work with you to convert your shop orders during the short transition period.
